TAV Napoli-Roma (1994)

Premessa

The Rome-Naples high-speed railway is a High Speed/High Capacity (HS/HC) railway line, work on which began in 1994. The line is part of the “Railway Axis 1” of the Trans-European Conventional Railway Network TEN-T.

In 1994, work on the TAV (High Speed Train) started on the Naples-Rome section. The Migliaccio Group, for about two years, provided for the construction of the railway section from its fleet of 5 concrete pumps and as many as 7 truck mixers, the pumps with long booms between 28 and 33mt. The Group has been responsible for the casting of concrete for foundations, piers, pulvinos, elevated platforms and tunnels.

The TAV line section was opened to the public in 2005.
