Pontremolese (2008)

Background

The Pontremolese railway transport line connects the city of Parma with the Tyrrhenian ridge near the city of La Spezia. In total, the line stretches 120km, and is traveled by both freight and regional trains. The line owes its name to the town of Pontremoli, one of the main towns crossed by the rail route.

The Group’s Work

In 2008, in collaboration with the Colabeton Group, Grenti and Calcestruzzi S.p.a., the Migliaccio Group participated in the construction of the line in the Pontrevoli and Fornovo section, offering its services through 4 truck mixers and 2 concrete pumps with booms from 28-32 meters in height and a K41. The concrete used was an RCK 30/35, the work was carried out during daylight hours entrusting it to a single contemporary operator capable of covering all work requirements.
