Premessa

1932 is officially the year Giovanni Rossi Cement Industry was founded, but the company’s experience has even older and deeper roots. In fact, it finds its origin in the resourcefulness of founder Giovanni Rossi who, between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, starting from a small furnace owned by his father, managed to quintuple the plant in just a few years, laying the foundations for the company’s future development. Today, as then, Cementirossi is at the forefront of technological innovation in the industry and fully computerized.

In 2010, the Migliaccio Group collaborated to build the silo at the Cementirossi site in Parma, useful for clincker storage. The on-site work lasted about 30 days, from May to June, working for 24 continuous hours without any interruption with 3 operators. Concrete pouring was done in cooperation between stationary boom, a wheeled pump and a concrete mixer. The concrete mixer discharged into the trolley pump through a 40mt pipe, carrying the concrete to the stationary boom which finalized it in the preformed iron structure.
